Who Are We?

Incorporated in 1977, David B Archer Co-operative was one of the first non-profit co-operatives built in the historic and award-winning St. Lawrence Neighbourhood. The Archer community reflects the diversity of downtown urban living.

Comprising 190 units of apartment and townhouse housing, the co-op offers bachelor to four-bedroom units to accommodate single people, couples and families. A small number of units are configured for wheelchair and scooter use. Most units have outdoor space via a balcony or backyard and the co-op maintains a small private playground for our children. The co-op provides affordable laundry facilities and a general purpose room with kitchen for meetings and parties.

Archer Co-op is close to TTC bus and subway service, schools and daycares, and a community centre. Good shopping facilities, theatre, restaurants and banks are provided by a vibrant business and entertainment community. There are parks, green spaces and lakeside facilities for year-round outdoor enjoyment.
